Today was a great freaking fishing trip.
Brent had us hooking hogs in no time. Giving us a full 5 hours on the lake.

We had a great time with Brent over the Labor Day weekend. He took four of us out and was a great guide. Brent knows his way around Cedar Creek Lake. We all caught our fair share of sand bass and Brent cleaned them when we were all done.

For anyone that loves to fish and then the hassle has became too much ie. getting your equipment out, new line, trying to find the right tackle for the lake, the right bait, the weather etc., then Brent’s LoneStar Guide Service is your solution. Just show up at the designated time and your only worry is “Do I have a big enough cooler to take my filleted fish home” ?

Had a great time out with Brent today! Been fishing this lake for years and have had too much inconsistency and wasn’t sure what I was missing, but after a trip with Brent, I’m fully confident that i have the knowledge i need to catch a ton! Great attitude, friendly and informative to answer any questions i had, and had us on the fish at the first spot with fish caught at ever subsequent one.
Not just a trolling guide trip of hitting a few favorite spots but an excellent learning experience for the whole family!

We had an outstanding day fishing at Cedar. Reel with Brent. My 9 year old son caught his biggest fish ever, a 5lb hybrid. We loaded up on sand bass all morning. Great job Brent. We’ll have to do it again soon.

Me and a buddy went fishing with Brent today and I caught the BIGGEST hybrid I’ve ever caught, which was a 7.5 pounder!!! It was a fun day going to different shallow spots that were spectacular. Brent is kind, funny and easy to hangout with on the water. Great guide!

Capt Brent was the perfect guide for taking my family fishing on cedar creek lake. His boat was in great shape with plenty of room for 4 fishing, electronics worked great to locate fish and the gear was perfect for any skill level. He was courteous, professional and patient. Brent took our group of 4 anglers out on his boat (the other 3 had not been on a tour/boat with guide previously). We had such a great day of easily catching about 120 fish, mostly white bass, but also some hybrida and a few catfish, drum and a large crappie. I almost broke the 50 mark!
Brent’s knowledge of the lake, bait, boat and equipment were all top notch. I plan on coming back for another trip soon!

My husband and I had a terrific day on the water with Brent. He was early to meet us and get the day started. He took some time to make sure we knew how to fish with his equipment, fishing techniques, etc. for the hybrids and white bass. Being new to CC, that was nice especially for me. Brent was also great about pointing out landmarks and different bits of info on the lake. He was helpful and attentive in all aspects of the day especially in using the net, helping with lures, and keeping us actively fishing. He cleaned and bagged the fish and gave us pointers on prepping the fish for freezing and some new recipes and cooking techniques. A+ of an experience and we can’t wait to get back on the water with him!
